Apps / Claude Code
Managed Claude Code hosting.
One server, no app limits.
Anthropic’s agentic coding CLI on your own always-on server. Long tasks keep running after your laptop sleeps. Bring your own Anthropic account.
What it is
Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic coding tool: a CLI that reads your repo, writes code, runs commands, and works through long tasks. On your own always-on server it keeps working after your laptop lid closes, which is what makes server-side Claude Code worth having.
Minimum RAM
2 GB
Fits on SC-2GB; SC-4GB is the comfortable pick with room to stack.
What we install
Our playbook installs Node 22 and Claude Code globally, ready on first SSH login. You authenticate with your own Anthropic account on first run; nothing of ours sits between you and the model.
What managed covers
Server updates, snapshots, dual offsite backups, monitoring, firewall, and humans on call. Your code, your Anthropic subscription, your usage; our patched and monitored Ubuntu underneath it.
The app is $0. The managed server is the only bill, and everything above is part of it.
Why run Claude Code on a server instead of my laptop?
Long agentic runs survive there. A refactor that takes an hour keeps going while you close the lid, switch machines, or lose Wi-Fi; you reattach over SSH or tmux and pick up the session. It also gives Claude a clean, consistent Linux environment instead of whatever state your laptop is in.
Do I need an Anthropic subscription?
Yes. Claude Code authenticates with your own Anthropic account (Pro, Max, or API billing), and model usage bills with Anthropic, not with us. We provide the always-on managed server it runs on.
How much server does Claude Code need?
The CLI itself is light: 2 GB is an honest floor for the tool plus a typical project. What grows is what you build: add Docker for containers or a database and the meter in our cart sizes the server for the whole stack.
Can I pair it with a private Git server?
Naturally. Gitea on the same Cube gives you private repos with zero egress between Claude Code and your code, and code-server adds a browser IDE for the times you want eyes on the diff from a tablet.

Frequently asked questions
Is this an official Anthropic service?
The tool is Anthropic's; the server is ours. We install the official CLI on a managed Cloud Cube and keep the server healthy. Your relationship with Anthropic, including billing for model usage, stays direct.
What does it cost to host Claude Code?
The install is $0 like every app here; the managed server starts at $20/mo on annual billing for a 1 GB Cube, though 2 GB is the honest floor for real work. Anthropic bills your model usage separately.
Can several people use one Claude Code server?
Each developer should authenticate their own Anthropic account. Separate Linux users on one Cube work fine for a small team; separate Cubes keep billing and blast radius apart.

Shared CPU servers
The right home for Claude Code and most stacks: 3.0+ GHz vCPU, from $10/mo.
