Apps / WireGuard

Managed WireGuard hosting.
One server, no app limits.

The modern VPN protocol, deployed with client configs ready to import and the tunnel verified working.

What it is

WireGuard is the modern VPN protocol: a lean, audited codebase, connections that feel instant, and configs small enough to read. It turns your server into a private front door.

Minimum RAM

1 GB

Fits on SC-1GB; SC-2GB is the comfortable pick with room to stack.

What we install

The playbook deploys WireGuard with keys generated, client configs and QR codes ready to import on phones and laptops, forwarding and DNS handled, and the port placed behind the managed firewall.

What managed covers

Kernel and server updates, daily snapshots plus dual offsite backups of the configuration, monitoring, and the managed firewall. The tunnel is verified working before handover, not assumed.

The app is $0. The managed server is the only bill, and everything above is part of it.

What does managed WireGuard hosting include?

A working VPN with configs you scan or import, on a server we patch and watch, for $0 on top of it. Add peers whenever; the crypto and the kernel stay our problem.

What do people actually use it for?

Three things, mostly: a trustworthy exit point on clean datacenter IP space when on hotel or cafe Wi-Fi; private access to the rest of this catalog, so a Portainer, Grafana, or BookStack never faces the public internet; and site-to-site links between offices without appliance pricing.

Can it make my other apps VPN-only?

Yes, and it is the catalog's best security pairing: any app you stack can be served only over the tunnel, which shrinks your public surface to a single UDP port. The admin panels of your business quietly disappear from the internet.

How is this different from a VPN subscription?

Commercial VPNs are shared exits with unknown neighbors and their reputation. Yours is a dedicated IP on managed infrastructure, with the logs policy being whatever you decide, because it is your server.

Stack it

WireGuard runs well with.

Same server, no extra bill. These are the companions our team installs next to WireGuard most often.

Pi-hole

+1 GB

Network-wide ad and tracker blocking. We pair it with WireGuard by default so it is never an open resolver.

Vaultwarden

+1 GB

Self-hosted Bitwarden-compatible password manager. Your vault, your server, our backups.

Frequently asked questions

How much RAM does WireGuard need?

Almost none: 1 GB covers it with room to spare, which is why it rides along on so many stacks.

How many devices can connect?

As many peers as you create; configs take a minute each and phones import by QR code.

Is it fast?

WireGuard is the fast one: kernel-space, modern crypto, and typically indistinguishable from your raw line speed on these servers.
