Apps / Drupal
Managed Drupal hosting.
One server, no app limits.
The structured-content heavyweight for agencies, government, and education sites.
What it is
Drupal is the enterprise-grade PHP CMS: structured content, a real API layer, and the permission depth governments and universities standardize on. It rewards a properly tuned server more than any other CMS.
Minimum RAM
2 GB
Fits on SC-2GB; SC-4GB is the comfortable pick with room to stack.
What we install
The playbook deploys Drupal via Composer on PHP 8.3 with OPcache and the required extensions, a tuned MariaDB, Drush ready on the CLI, HTTPS forced, trusted host patterns set, and cron wired as a real system job.
What managed covers
PHP, Composer-level platform, database, and server updates; daily snapshots and dual offsite backups; monitoring, firewall, and mail delivery. Your modules and content model stay yours; the machinery underneath stays ours.
The app is $0. The managed server is the only bill, and everything above is part of it.
What does managed Drupal hosting include?
A Composer-based install done the way drupal.org documents it, plus operations: PHP and database tuning, Drush, SSL, caching, backups, monitoring, and the firewall. Drupal punishes casual hosting; this is the opposite of casual.
Why does Drupal care so much about the server?
Because Drupal's render pipeline and entity system lean on PHP workers, OPcache, and the database harder than lighter CMSes. The same site can feel sluggish on generic hosting and instant on a tuned stack with Redis caching, which is exactly the pairing our playbooks set up.
Can Drupal share a server with other apps?
Yes. Redis for cache bins is the classic companion and it is $0 in the catalog, as is Matomo for analytics. A busy Drupal plus its supporting services still lands on one managed server and one bill.
Will you migrate my Drupal site?
Yes, free, Composer lock file and all. We rebuild the codebase properly, import the database and files, run the update path, and you verify before DNS moves. Sites still on Drupal 7 get an honest conversation about the upgrade path first.
Stack it
Drupal runs well with.
Same server, no extra bill. These are the companions our team installs next to Drupal most often.
Redis
+1 GBIn-memory cache and queue. The cheapest speed upgrade most stacks never install. Pairs with everything.
Matomo
+2 GBGoogle Analytics without Google: your visitors’ data on your server, GDPR-calm.
Frequently asked questions
How much RAM does Drupal need?
Plan for 2 GB as the floor with the database local. Sites with heavy Views, many contrib modules, or logged-in traffic want 4 GB plus Redis.
Is Drush available?
Yes, installed and on the PATH as part of the playbook. Composer is there too; the codebase is managed the way Drupal expects, not as a zip extract.
Do you handle Drupal security releases?
Core security releases are applied as part of management with a snapshot first. Contrib module updates we coordinate with you, since module updates can change behavior.

Shared CPU servers
The right home for Drupal and most stacks: 3.0+ GHz vCPU, from $10/mo.
