What is Coolify?

Coolify is an open-source platform that gives you the Heroku experience on hardware you control: connect a Git repository, and applications build and deploy automatically with HTTPS, health checks, and rollbacks. Beyond apps, it ships a large catalog of one-click services, from Postgres and Redis to Plausible, n8n, and Ghost, all running as containers you own.

How much does Coolify hosting cost?

On a managed VPS, from $5/mo (on 12 months, or $6 month to month); free and open source, no license fee. Management is included.

Coolify or Dokploy?

Both give you git-push deploys on your own server. Coolify shines with its huge one-click service catalog; Dokploy is leaner and Compose-centric. We install either, and switching later is a migration we help with.

Do I need Docker knowledge?

Not to start: git push and one-click services cover most needs. When you want to go deeper, full root and real Docker are underneath.

Is my data backed up?

Coolify’s own database backups run on your schedule, and the whole server gets a daily snapshot. For offsite copies, add Dual Backups.

Can you migrate my Heroku or Render apps?

Yes: containerized apps move well, and our engineers run the migration free while your current setup keeps serving.
