AdminBolt is a modern control panel built for the post-cPanel era: the same core workflow, sites, mail, databases, DNS, SSL, backups, in a faster, cleaner interface, without per-account license fees. That last part matters: cPanel now charges per account, and on busy servers those fees quietly become a second hosting bill.

For the standard hosting workflow, sites, mail, databases, SSL, PHP versions, backups, yes, with a faster, cleaner interface. Deep cPanel-specific integrations are the main reason to pick cPanel instead.
Why are AdminBolt plans cheaper?
Licensing. cPanel charges per account; AdminBolt does not. We pass the difference through instead of pocketing it.
Is the performance really identical?
Yes: both panels sit on the same LiteSpeed + CloudLinux + NVMe platform. The panel is the interface; the engine is shared.
