Managed VPS Pricing from $20/month, fully managed since 2001
Cloud Cubes PricingEvery Cloud Cubes plan ships fully managed since 2001: 100% NVMe storage, dual remote backups, mail gateway, free migration, and a 500% uptime SLA. Choose Shared CPU or Dedicated CPU, then the right plan size from 1 GiB to 128 GiB RAM. Annual billing saves 17% on every plan.

Managed VPS pricing, explained
What is managed VPS pricing, and what should it include?
Managed VPS pricing is the all-in monthly cost of a virtual private server where the host runs the server for you: monitoring, patching, backups, security, mail, and incident response are bundled into the listed price. At RemarkableCloud, every Cloud Cubes plan ships fully managed since 2001, with everything included in one flat rate.
Most cloud providers advertise unmanaged or partially-managed VPS plans. The sticker price looks small (often $5 to $20/month for entry-level instances), but a real production setup needs add-ons that the headline does not include: backup service, monitoring, security configuration, OS patching, mail handling, and DevOps time. By the time those are accounted for, the all-in cost is usually 2 to 3x the headline price. Managed VPS pricing eliminates that math by including all of it from day one.
Cloud Cubes come in two families: Shared CPU for websites and growing apps, and Dedicated CPU for eCommerce, databases, and CPU-intensive workloads. The CPU model and storage allocation change between families, but the management, SLA, and operational stack are identical. Annual billing saves 17% on every plan, equivalent to two months free per year.

Why does my VPS run a control panel, DNS, and backups?
On most managed VPS hosts, your server runs the control panel, DNS server, and backup engine alongside your actual workload, eating CPU, RAM, and disk before you host a single site. RemarkablePanel moves all three to our shared infrastructure at no charge. Your VPS runs only what matters: web, mail, and databases.
Traditional VPS
Your Cloud Cube
Control panel hosted by us
The web UI, account database, billing integration, and admin services all run on our shared cluster. You get a full-featured panel without it consuming a single MB of your VPS RAM or a single percent of your CPU. cPanel-style power without the cPanel-style overhead.
~512 MB freed on your VPS
DNS hosted globally redundant
Authoritative DNS for every domain on your account runs on our geographically distributed name servers. Faster lookups for visitors worldwide, automatic failover if a region goes down, no DNS daemon eating memory on your server, and no DNS hijacking risk if your VPS is ever compromised.
Faster DNS, zero VPS load
Backup engine, off your server
Daily snapshots and off-site backups run on dedicated backup hardware, not your VPS. No CPU spikes during backup windows, no disk I/O contention slowing your site, and no backup-induced load average alerts at 3am. Restores happen the same way: from our infrastructure, not yours.
Zero performance impact
Pricing transparency
Why does managed VPS pricing vary so much?
The honest answer: most price differences come down to what is actually included. A $5 droplet at DigitalOcean and a $73 fully managed Shared CPU 16GB VPS are not the same product, and comparing the sticker prices is misleading. Here is what each price tag actually covers, with no asterisks.
What our pricing includes
Listed price is the total. No upgrades to read your email, no fee to talk to a human, no surprises on month two. Identical operational stack across all 28 plans.
- 100% server management: monitoring, patching, tuning, incident response
- Reserved or shared cores: depending on tier, no oversubscription on Dedicated and Storage
- Real local NVMe storage: 25 GB to 3.2 TB, full I/O throughput, no network-attached tier
- Daily snapshots: 7-day retention, instant restore on request
- Free S3 backup storage: 2x your disk size, no extra charge
- Mail gateway: Rspamd-based inbound and outbound antispam
- DDoS protection: 50 Gbps, automatic mitigation
- Free migration: from your current host, handled by our team

What costs extra at unmanaged hosts
DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, and Hetzner advertise instances starting from $5/mo. By the time you have a real production setup, the all-in cost is 2 to 5x the headline price.
- Backup service: typically 20% of server cost as an add-on
- Block storage volumes: $0.10/GB-month on top, slower than local NVMe
- Snapshots: paid by GB stored, often $0.05/GB-month
- Monitoring: bring your own (Datadog, New Relic) or free tier with limits
- Managed database: separate paid service, often 2x the instance cost
- Load balancer: paid add-on at $10 to $25/month
- Object storage: paid by GB stored and bandwidth used
- Premium support: $100 to $500+/month for human response
- Security configuration: your time (or your DevOps engineer's time)
- OS patching and tuning: your time, your responsibility
- Migration help: usually not offered, you do it yourself
- Mail handling: not included, configure your own
What costs extra on our pricing
Honest disclosure: a few things are not in the base price. Most customers do not need them, but you should know what they are.
- Software licenses: cPanel, LiteSpeed, Imunify360, Plesk, JetBackup, billed at provider's published rates with no markup
- Additional dedicated IPv4 addresses: $2/month per IP, IPv6 is unlimited and free
- Custom OS images: standard distros are free, custom builds are quoted
- Additional backup retention: extra retention beyond the included 7 days, billed by storage
- Premium DDoS scrubbing: protection beyond 50 Gbps requires our enterprise tier
- Bandwidth overage: included transfer is generous (5 to 320 TB/mo); rare overages billed at a small per-GB fee

What 16 GiB RAM actually costs across providers
A real production setup at 16 GiB RAM, with the management, backups, and monitoring you would actually deploy. Headline prices on the left, all-in production cost on the right.
| Provider | Plan | Headline price | Required add-ons | Real all-in cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DigitalOcean | Premium AMD CPU-Optimized 4 vCPU, 16 GiB | $96/mo unmanaged | +$120-$300/mo backups, monitoring, mgmt time | ~$216-$396/mo production-ready |
| Linode | Dedicated CPU 16GB 8 vCPU, 16 GiB | $144/mo unmanaged | +$120-$300/mo backups, monitoring, mgmt time | ~$264-$444/mo production-ready |
| Vultr | High Performance 16GB 4 vCPU, 16 GiB | $96/mo unmanaged | +$120-$300/mo backups, monitoring, mgmt time | ~$216-$396/mo production-ready |
| Hetzner | CCX23 Dedicated vCPU 4 vCPU, 16 GiB | $35/mo unmanaged | +$150-$350/mo no first-party management | ~$185-$385/mo production-ready |
| RemarkableCloud | Shared CPU 16GB 4 vCPU, 16 GiB, fully managed | $73/mo annual billing | $0/mo all-in price | $73/mo production-ready |
| RemarkableCloud | Dedicated CPU 16GB 2 reserved vCPU, 16 GiB | $80/mo annual billing | $0/mo all-in price | $80/mo production-ready |
The honest comparison is not "$96 unmanaged droplet vs $73 managed Shared CPU." It is "$96 plus $120 to $300 per month in management add-ons" versus "$73 with operations included." When you do the actual math, managed wins for any team without a full-time sysadmin already on payroll.
Billing and refunds
How does billing work, and what happens if I want to leave?
Cloud Cubes plans are billed monthly or annually, your choice, no contracts, cancel anytime. Annual saves about 17% across every plan. Here is exactly how billing works and how the refund policy is structured, with no asterisks.
Billing cycles
Two options on every plan. Pick at checkout, switch later if you change your mind.
- Monthly billing: regular published rate, charged on signup date each month, cancel anytime with no exit fee
- Annual billing: pay 12 months upfront, get the equivalent of 2 months free (~17% savings on every plan)
- Switch cycles anytime: monthly to annual or back, takes effect on next renewal, no fee for the change
- Auto-renewal: enabled by default, can be turned off in your account dashboard at any time
- Payment methods: credit card, PayPal, wire transfer (annual only), cryptocurrency (annual only)
- Currency: USD billing, accepts cards from any country
30-day money-back guarantee
Try us for 30 days. If we are not the right fit, full refund of your first payment, no questions asked.
- 30-day window: starts on the day your server is provisioned
- Full refund of first payment: monthly or annual, the entire first charge is refundable
- No exit fees: nothing held back, nothing prorated against you
- No contracts: nothing to cancel beyond your account, ever
- After 30 days, prorated: annual plans get pro-rated refunds for unused months on cancellation
- How to cancel: one click in your account dashboard, or send us a ticket; refunds processed within 5 business days
- Excluded: third-party software licenses (cPanel, LiteSpeed, etc.) are not refundable once issued by the vendor
Upgrades and tier changes
Resize your server up or down at any time, change tiers if your workload shape changes. No fees, no friction.
- Plan upgrades within a tier: usually zero downtime, we add resources in place
- Plan downgrades within a tier: brief reboot to apply new resource limits, scheduled at a time you choose
- Tier changes (Basic to Shared CPU, Shared to Dedicated, etc.): server move handled by our team, planned with you, usually zero downtime
- No upgrade fees: pay only the difference for the new plan, prorated for the remaining cycle
- No downgrade penalty: same prorated math, but the other direction
- Annual plan changes: prorated to the day, no penalty, the unused portion of your annual payment applies as credit

How much do I actually save with annual billing?
| Plan example | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Saved per year | Equivalent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic 8GB | $40/mo $480/year | $33/mo $396/year | $84/year 17.5% off | ~2 months free on annual cycle |
| Shared CPU 16GB | $88/mo $1,056/year | $73/mo $876/year | $180/year 17% off | ~2 months free on annual cycle |
| Dedicated CPU 32GB | $192/mo $2,304/year | $160/mo $1,920/year | $384/year 16.7% off | ~2 months free on annual cycle |
| Storage Optimized 64GB | $448/mo $5,376/year | $373/mo $4,476/year | $900/year 16.7% off | ~2 months free on annual cycle |
Annual billing is genuinely cheaper, not a "lock-in" trick. If you cancel mid-year, the unused months are prorated and refunded. The only reason it costs less is that committed revenue is more valuable to us than monthly churn risk, and we pass that value back to you. Questions about billing? Ask before you commit.
Verified reviews
Don't take our word for it.
Real feedback from real businesses. Independently verified on Google and Trustpilot, no edits, no cherry-picking.
After encountering numerous issues with my WordPress site while using other providers, a friend recommended RemarkableCloud to me. It's been two years since I made the switch, and I can confidently say I've never looked back. The server is not only fast but also incredibly stable. I haven't experienced any downtime in almost two years. The support team is impressively fast and knowledgeable, always ready to assist.
These people deserve nothing less than a 10/10. They're truly masters in the cloud field.
The tech support is excellent, and they offer very competitive pricing. They also migrated my cPanel VPS to a DirectAdmin VPS without noticeable downtime.
Problem resolution in no more than half an hour for simple issues, and within 4 hours for complex ones. Great service.
Excellent web hosting company. I really love all their products and services. Thank you so much.
Very professional. Fast, friendly, and consistent. Keep it up.
It's been a month since I signed up with RemarkableCloud.com to test their services and technical support. So far everything has been good. I'm happy with the service.
What happens if my managed VPS goes down?
Most hosting SLAs only kick in after uptime drops below 99% or 99.9%, which is 7 to 87 hours of downtime per month before you see anything back. Ours starts from minute one, applied automatically, with no ticket required.
From minute one
Credits start accumulating from the first minute of downtime. No minimum threshold, no waiting room, no fine print clauses about "scheduled maintenance" or "force majeure."
No ticket required
Credits are applied automatically to your next invoice. You do not need to open a support ticket, submit a claim form, or argue with billing about whether the downtime really happened.
500% not 99.9%
While other hosts calculate fractions of a percent, we guarantee 5x compensation in service credit. It is not a marketing claim. It is written into the contract you sign when you order.
Typical hosting SLA
Credits only trigger after uptime drops below 99% or 99.9%. That is 7 to 87 hours of downtime per month before you see anything back, and the credit is usually 1x the lost time.
RemarkableCloud SLA
Credits from minute one. Five hours back for every hour down. Applied automatically, every time, with no action from you.
FAQ
Common questions about Cloud Cubes pricing
Honest answers about how our pricing works across both families. If your question is not here, send it to us, we will answer it personally and add it to this list.
How is Cloud Cubes pricing structured?
Cloud Cubes come in two families, Shared CPU and Dedicated CPU. Every plan is fully managed, with the same operations stack (management, monitoring, dual backups, mail gateway, firewall, 500% SLA, human support) included in one flat price. You pick a family and a size from 1 GiB to 128 GiB RAM, and the price scales with the resources. There are no add-ons to buy and no unmanaged tier.
Two billing cycles: monthly, or annual for 17% off (about 2 months free). For example, Shared CPU 4GB is $48/month, or $40/month on annual billing. Dedicated CPU 8GB is $90/month, or $75/month annual. The price you see is the price you pay, on month one and every month after.
Which family should I pick?
Pick based on your workload. If it is web-facing (WordPress sites, WooCommerce stores, memory-hungry CMS, multi-site setups, growing SaaS), Shared CPU is the right family. It uses shared vCPU with dedicated DDR5 memory and starts at $20/month on annual billing.
If your workload is CPU-bound (sustained load, OLTP databases, ML inference, video transcoding, regulated workloads, high-volume eCommerce), Dedicated CPU gives you dedicated cores with no oversubscription and no bursting, starting at $75/month on annual billing. Still unsure? Tell us your workload and we will recommend a plan based on real usage patterns.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No contract, no minimum commitment, on any plan. Monthly plans renew month-to-month, cancel anytime through your account dashboard. Annual plans give you 17% savings in exchange for paying upfront, but you can still cancel mid-cycle and get a prorated refund for unused months.
The 30-day money-back guarantee covers your first payment in full. After that, monthly is monthly and annual is prorated to the day on cancellation. Nothing held back, no exit fees.
How much do I save with annual billing?
Exactly 16.67% off the monthly rate, equivalent to 2 months free per year. The math: the annual rate equals the monthly rate × 5/6. So a $48/month plan becomes $40/month on annual billing ($480/year vs $576/year).
Annual savings scale with plan size. A Shared CPU 4GB saves $96/year on annual; a Shared CPU 8GB about $164/year; a Dedicated CPU 16GB $324/year; a Dedicated CPU 64GB $1,200/year. Annual is genuinely cheaper, not a lock-in trick. Cancel mid-year and we prorate the refund.
What is included in every plan, and what costs extra?
Included on every plan: 100% server management, 24/7 monitoring, daily snapshots, dual offsite backups (PBS + S3), MailChannels mail gateway with inbound and outbound antispam, managed firewall with IDS, 50 Gbps DDoS protection, free white-glove migration, RemarkablePanel control panel, 500% uptime SLA, and 24/7 human support.
What costs extra: third-party software licenses (cPanel, LiteSpeed, Imunify360, Plesk, JetBackup) at the vendor's published rates with no markup; additional dedicated IPv4 addresses at $2/month each; custom OS images that require a build (standard distros are free); extended backup retention; and bandwidth overage if you exceed the included transfer (overage is rare and we always communicate before applying any per-GB fee).
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes, in either direction, on any plan, at any time. Upgrades within a family (for example, Shared CPU 16GB to Shared CPU 32GB) usually happen with zero downtime; we add resources to your existing server in place. Downgrades within a family require a brief reboot to apply the new resource limits, scheduled at a time you choose.
Family changes (Shared CPU to Dedicated CPU, or the reverse) involve a server move handled by our team. We plan it with you, do a test migration, run it under load if needed, then schedule the cutover at a low-traffic window. There is no fee for upgrades or family changes; you just pay the difference for the new plan, prorated to the day.
How does your pricing compare to DigitalOcean, Linode, or Vultr?
The headline numbers favor unmanaged providers, but the comparison most buyers miss is what comes after the headline. A DigitalOcean Premium AMD CPU-Optimized 4 vCPU + 16 GiB instance is $96/month, unmanaged. Our Shared CPU 16GB is $121.67/month on annual billing, fully managed.
Unmanaged hosts charge separately for backups (~$20/month), monitoring (~$15-50/month), security tooling (~$25/month), and human support (~$100-500/month for premium tiers). Plus your DevOps engineer's time at $80-150/hour for OS patching, security configuration, and incident response. By the time you have a real production setup at 16 GiB, the all-in cost at unmanaged providers is typically $200-$400/month. Our $121.67-$135/month managed price already includes everything, with operations done for you.
Are there setup fees or hidden charges?
No setup fees on any plan. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, on month one and every month after. Migration is free, server provisioning is free, control panel is free, configuration is free.
The only items that ever show up on a separate line are the optional extras you explicitly choose: third-party software licenses (cPanel, LiteSpeed, etc.), additional IPv4 addresses, or bandwidth overage if you exceed the included transfer. We tell you the cost before applying any of them. No surprise charges, ever.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal on monthly and annual billing. Wire transfer and cryptocurrency are accepted on annual billing for customers who prefer them, common for enterprise procurement and international buyers.
All billing is in USD. Cards from any country are accepted. If you need an invoice with VAT, GST, or local tax handling, we issue compliant invoices on request, or your accounting system can pull them automatically from your account dashboard.
What is the refund policy?
30-day money-back guarantee on all Cloud Cubes plans. If you sign up and decide we are not the right fit within the first 30 days, we refund your full first payment, no questions asked, no exit fees, no contracts to cancel. Refunds are processed within 5 business days to your original payment method.
After 30 days, monthly plans bill month-to-month and can be cancelled anytime with no further charges. Annual plans get pro-rated refunds for unused months on cancellation. Third-party software licenses (cPanel, LiteSpeed, Imunify360) are not refundable once issued by the vendor, since we pay the vendor directly on your behalf.
Do you offer custom plans or volume discounts?
Yes. If you need a configuration that does not fit the standard 15 plans (very large RAM, custom CPU sizing, multi-server architectures, dedicated hardware, regulatory or compliance requirements), tell us about your workload and we will quote a custom plan. Volume pricing is built into our reseller program: the discount scales with active servers, 5% at 2 servers, 10% at 3, 15% at 4, and 20% at 5 or more, applied to the base price of every Cloud Cube.
Common enterprise configurations include high-availability database clusters, dedicated bare-metal servers, isolated tenant pools for compliance environments, and custom backup retention windows. Pricing scales with the resource commitment and is documented in your contract.
Can I migrate from another host for free?
Yes. Free white-glove migration is included on every Cloud Cubes plan, regardless of which family you choose or where you are coming from. cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin hosts; AWS, DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, Hetzner; managed hosts like Cloudways, Kinsta, WP Engine. Our team handles the move: sites, databases, mail accounts, DNS records, SSL certificates, and any data you specifically need preserved.
For larger workloads we plan extra carefully, run a test migration first, verify under load, then schedule the final cutover at a low-traffic window. Most customers experience zero downtime during migration. There is no migration fee, no time limit, and no plan requirement to qualify.
