Do Ghost newsletters need Mailgun?
Ghost recommends Mailgun for bulk sending and we can configure it if you have an account. Transactional mail (signups, password resets) goes through the MailChannels relay, an optional add-on from $8/mo.
Do you keep Ghost updated?
The server, Node, and database stay current as part of management, and Ghost updates are applied on the maintained release line with a snapshot taken first.
Does email newsletter sending work?
Ghost sends newsletters through a bulk provider (Mailgun is its native integration), which you connect with an API key. Transactional mail like signups can ride your server or the optional MailChannels relay.
Can I import from Substack, Medium or WordPress?
