What is managed VPS hosting?
A managed VPS (virtual private server) is a server where the hosting provider handles the technical side — OS updates, security, monitoring, backups, and support — so you don't have to. You get dedicated resources and root access, but without the burden of managing the infrastructure yourself. It sits between shared hosting (cheap, limited, no control) and an unmanaged VPS (full control, full responsibility).
What's the difference between managed and unmanaged VPS?
With an unmanaged VPS, you get the server and that's it — every OS update, security patch, firewall rule, backup job, and service restart is your responsibility. With a managed VPS, the provider handles all of that. RemarkableCloud is fully managed: we handle the server environment completely. You focus on your applications and content.
What exactly is included in the management?

How does the 500% SLA work?
If your server experiences downtime, we credit you 5× the duration of the outage — automatically, from minute one. There's no minimum threshold before credits kick in, and you don't need to file a claim. Most providers only credit after 99.9% uptime drops in a calendar month, and credit at 1× the downtime. We credit at 5× from the first minute.
How much does a managed VPS cost?
Cloud Cubes start at $8/month on a regular monthly plan, or $2 for your first month (75% off). Plans range from 2 GB RAM at $8/month up to 256 GB dedicated RAM. Do I need a control panel? Which ones are supported?
RemarkablePanel is included free with every Cloud Cube — it handles DNS, email, backups, and web hosting management with themes that look like cPanel, DirectAdmin, or Plesk. If you prefer cPanel, DirectAdmin, or Webuzo, those are available as paid add-ons. Many customers migrate from cPanel to RemarkablePanel specifically to eliminate the monthly license cost.
Will you migrate my existing server?
Yes — every new Cloud Cube includes a free server migration. We move your files, databases, email, and configuration. Your existing server stays live until you're satisfied with the new setup and ready to update DNS. The migration is handled by our team, not an automated tool.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade to a higher Cloud Cube plan at any time — we handle the transition. Downgrading is also possible. There's no lock-in on monthly billing, and if you've prepaid, we'll apply any remaining credit proportionally.
What operating systems are available?
Cloud Cubes support Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, CloudLinux, and Windows Server 2025. Linux plans are available across all tiers. Windows is available on select plans. All operating systems receive the same fully managed service.
