Is External Server Management suitable for my unmanaged server?

If you currently handle updates, security, and troubleshooting on your own—or lack the time and expertise to do so—our service can lighten your workload. We take care of monitoring, security hardening, and maintenance tasks so you can focus on your core activities.

Which operating systems do you support?

We support Debian, Ubuntu, CloudLinux, AlmaLinux, RockyLinux, RHEL, CentOS, Fedora, and Windows Server. Our team is trained to manage these systems and stay updated on relevant patches and best practices.

What if I need more than 2 hours of support in a month?

Each month, we include up to 2 hours of server administration and troubleshooting. If you surpass this threshold, additional time is billed at $25/hour. This ensures you only pay for the extra support you require.

How does proactive monitoring work?

We continuously track performance metrics—such as memory usage, network traffic, CPU load, and disk space—and receive alerts when thresholds are breached or anomalies occur. This allows us to address potential issues before they evolve into critical problems.

Do you handle backups and disaster recovery?

We configure and schedule regular backups for your server. However, disaster recovery procedures, including data restoration, rely on having valid backups. If you need more extensive or customized disaster recovery measures, we can discuss additional services.

Can you help with server migrations?

We offer basic server migrations (e.g., site transfers) as part of the service. More complex or large-scale migrations may require extra hours or a separate project, which we’ll discuss with you in advance.

We coordinate with the data center to address hardware problems, but physical repairs, replacements, or hardware-specific tasks remain the data center’s responsibility. We help facilitate and communicate these issues on your behalf.

Do you install any software/agent on my server?

Yes. We install:

  • A remote access agent to securely manage your server.

  • A monitoring agent (Zabbix) to track performance metrics such as CPU, RAM, and network usage.

  • A log monitoring and shipping agent (Wazuh/Graylog) for real-time analysis and threat detection.

These agents are configured to minimize impact on server resources while enabling our team to provide comprehensive oversight.

Is my data and privacy safe?

We store logs for 30 days to analyze performance, health, and security issues. After that period, the logs are permanently deleted. We also follow strict internal security protocols to safeguard all data collected during this process, ensuring your information remains private.
