Has your DNS change landed yet?

We ask the resolvers people actually use, Google, Cloudflare, Quad9, OpenDNS and more, and you watch them answer one by one. Each resolver's own cache is the real propagation signal.

Results are labeled by resolver, not fake map pins. Agreement across resolvers = propagated.

Questions about this tool

?How long does DNS propagation take?

Until each resolver's cached copy expires: the TTL of the old record. Most changes complete within minutes to a few hours; nameserver changes can take up to 24 hours because they update the TLD registry.

?Why do resolvers show different answers?

Each resolver caches independently. During propagation, resolvers that cached the old value keep serving it until its TTL runs out, which is exactly what this tool visualizes.

?Why label by resolver instead of showing a world map?

Because that is what actually happens: the resolvers people use (Google, Cloudflare, Quad9) run global anycast caches, so per-resolver answers are the honest propagation signal. Map pins imply geography that is not really there.
