RemarkableCloud offers a hassle-free migration service for your websites, ensuring zero downtime. The migration is generally free, depending on the type of control panel you have and the service package you choose with us. Below are the details of our migration process and its management.
Pre-requisites for Migration #
Before initiating the migration, please ensure the following:
- You have valid login credentials (username and password) for the control panel of your current hosting provider.
- Your existing hosting service is active.
- Your website is built on a platform that is compatible with our services. Note: Websites built with certain page builders like Wix or WordPress.com are not eligible for migration.
- You are within the 30-day window since you’ve started your hosting, VPS, or dedicated server service with us for a free migration.
Steps in the Migration Process #
Submit Your Data
Fill out our support form with the necessary details. Our support team will then verify the information and assess the feasibility of the migration.Optional Pre-Migration
Our team will create a complete backup of your website. You’ll be guided on how to preview the site without changing your DNS settings, allowing us to identify and resolve any potential issues before the final migration.Final Migration
After the pre-migration checks, our team will schedule the final migration at a mutually agreed-upon time and date.Update DNS Settings
The last step involves updating your domain’s DNS settings to point to RemarkableCloud’s servers.
